Become an Alliance trustee
Help shape the future of the Early Years Alliance
What should the early years look like in three, five, ten years’ time – and what role can and should the Alliance play in helping to achieve this?
Here at the Alliance, we want to build a strong early years sector, one that put the needs of children and families first, respects and values its workforce, and has the provision of quality early education and care at its heart.
If you’re an active Alliance member who shares our vision and wants to play a pivotal role in shaping the strategy of largest and most representative early years membership organisation in England, then you sound like just the type of person we want to join our Board of Trustees.
We are currently looking for trustees to serve from 1 March 2023 to 28 Feb 2026 to help drive the vision, mission and values of our charity.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a seasoned volunteer or if this would be your very first trustee role – if you’re committed to ensuring that all children get the best possible start in life, then we’d love to hear from you.
Our friendly group of trustees meet up at least four times a year – either online or at a venue in London – with additional ad hoc virtual meetings held up to three times a year.
We also offer a full training and induction programme to help you to ease into your new role.
You can find out more about the role, including the eligibility criteria, in our Trustee Recruitment Pack.
