A webinar is an online seminar that focuses on a specific topic that is both relevant and current for early years providers.
Here you can get free access to monthly webinars hosted by our own early years experts.
Participants are able to view a ‘live’ presentation and have the opportunity to submit questions and contribute to discussion. Each webinar then remains available via our You Tube channel.
Next webinar: Early years update
Wednesday 20 January, 6-7pm
With almost daily changes to government guidance on a range of early years topics, please join a panel of the Alliance’s experts to get up-to-date information on the issues of funding and Ofsted inspection.
Last webinar: Preparing for Ofsted Inspections in 2021
Ofsted inspections will be phased back in next Spring. This webinar will update participants on Ofsted's plans for the coming months and consider the implications for the sector of their recent announcements. Whilst inspection judgments and the criteria Ofsted use to make those judgments is unlikely to change, there is no doubt that some inspection activity will have a different emphasis as we move forward. This is an ideal opportunity for practitioners to reflect on their provision and prepare for the return of inspections in the new year.
In this essential webinar, Melanie Pilcher, Quality and Standards Manager and Michael Freeston, Director of Quality Improvement will consider how early years providers can prepare themselves, reflecting on how they adapted their practice to meet the challenges of the past 9 months and how the 'flexibility' afforded by the EYFS disapplications and modifications will continue to allow some flexibility where local or national government agreed restrictions remain in place.
