Cross-disciplinary narratives of behaviour in SEND provision
A space for professionals across disciplines to reflect on how to work together to improve statutory documentation for SEND in early years
About this event
This course will cover the most recent research evidence on cross-professional partnerships between education, health and social care to promote inclusion in Early Years education. Participants will be given access to a set of resources created and adapted by researchers at Roehampton University on: how to develop cross-disciplinary narratives to be included in statutory documents; how to manage outcomes for children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) within multi-agency teams; organisational models of cross-professional work in SEND provision in Early Years; how the ICF (International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health) can be used to promote cross-professional work.
There will be trainer-led and trainee-led activities, as a whole group and in small groups.
The events are funded by The Froebel Trust
