Alliance teams up with CACHE to offer new training bundle

The Early Years Alliance is to launch a new bundle of e-courses aimed at practitioners wanting to take the step up to manager level or setting leadership roles.

The courses, which can be purchased via the EduCare platform, have been certified by early years training experts CACHE. The course bundles can be accessed for free by Alliance members by logging into the EduCare website and can be purchased by non-members at a special introductory offer price of £95 plus VAT.

This set of nine Cache-endorsed, CPD approved online training courses is recommended especially for practitioners in leadership or management roles. All have been written by experts at the Early Years Alliance.

The bundle includes Characteristics of Effective Leaders, Reflective Practice in the Early Years and Understanding and Addressing Behaviour and six others.  Each course provides practical guidance on the basics of managing an early years setting with a particular focus on ensuring that continuous professional development is enhanced and obligations fulfilled.

Melanie Pilcher, the Early Years Alliance’s Quality and Standards Manager , said:  "These are some of the most popular online courses the Alliance provides via EduCare and, by bundling them together, learners can cover the essentials a practitioner needs to become an early years manager or take on any leadership role in an early years setting.

“Securing the CACHE endorsement is also a significant step because it demonstrates not only that e-learning should be a crucial part of any early years practitioners’ continuous professional development but also the high quality of training these courses offer.”

EduCare courses, including this bundle, are just one of a range of benefits free to Alliance members but available to non-members for a fee. Members can find out more about the bundle and access the courses here:
