- We run acclaimed training schemes
- We campaign to influence early years policy and practice
Our vision and mission
Our vision is a society where every child enjoys the opportunity to learn through play. We believe families should be at the centre of policy-making and empowered to become fully involved with their child’s learning and development.
Our mission is to support early years providers to deliver high quality, affordable and sustainable care and learning to families, and to ensure that all children, regardless of background, are given the best possible start in life.
How we achieve this
We work with Alliance members to:
- Champion childhood and children’s right to play
- Advocate for children, families and all childcare and early education providers
- Put the family first to enhance children’s life chances
- Encourage safeguarding-led practice
- Raise standards and quality of childcare and early education
- Ensure families have choice and information to make the right decision about the care and education they need
- Provide high-quality training support and advice
“We feel it is important to be part of an organisation that helps us have a voice within an ever-changing sector. Knowing someone is representing us with government and trying to get a better deal for us is very comforting.”
I spoke to one of your employees called Mandy. She was amazing. I got really thorough information which answered all my queries in a very clear and concise manner.
I actually rang around a few different organisations but I received no answers for my queries.
Thank you for the invaluable service and especially to Mandy
“Life without the Alliance would be very difficult. We’ve had such immense support from them and that dedication and knowledge is really hard to come by. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them to anybody.”
