Targeted positive activities
Targeted Positive Activities offer a range of sessions being Community Groups, Youth Groups, and Holiday Clubs held at a variety of local venues across Lincolnshire offering a range of suitable activities in a safe and welcoming environment and giving parents and carers a short break for them caregiving time.
- Community Groups are for children with disabilities aged 5-18yrs.
- Youth Groups, for CWD aged 11-18yrs.
- Holiday Clubs, for CWD aged 5-18yrs.
At the range of sessions children with disabilities and their families will be supported at the right time to help maintain their quality of life, access high quality education to encourage and support children and young people to remain living at home with their family, and access as many services in their local communities so they can go on to live as independently as possible.
Each group is different with the children and young people getting to say what they want to do. With caring, experienced and skilled Practitioners who will enable those attending to socialise, join in and try new activities at a pace that is comfortable for each child and young person.

Holiday Club
Holiday sessions are longer. They run from 10.00am – 3.00pm, each child gets the choice of one day per week during the holidays, determined by age or activity.
Holiday clubs offer a safe and welcoming space with activities led by the preferences and capabilities of the children and young people that promotes self-confidence and independence. We know children and young people thrive and enjoy outdoor activities and do plan holiday clubs at local outdoor places such as Hill Holt Wood and Hartsholme park when possible.
