Understanding how to operate safely in the workplace is a vital skill for all employees. This course provides an effective training solution for those working in an early years environment and gives workers an understanding of their legal responsibilities and rights, accident prevention and workplace health and safety.
The course teaches the individual about formal and informal risk assessment in the context of an early years setting and guides them to take responsibility for their own safety at work. It is particularly useful for early years educators and practitioners, nursery workers, childminders, playworkers and preschool teachers and assistants.
This guide is written in line with the EYFS framework and is updated to meet the requirements of new versions of the EYFS as they are released.
